At Sedbergh Prep, our Year 7 Scholarship programme is designed to recognise exceptional ability and potential across a range of disciplines, while encouraging pupils to embrace challenge, develop their talents and make the most of the opportunities available to them.
Scholarships are available in the following areas:
- Academic
- Art
- Design, Technology & Engineering
- Drama
- Equestrian
- Music
- Sport
Alongside Scholarships, the School may also award Head’s Awards, recognising pupils who demonstrate significant promise and potential.
Successful applicants become part of our Scholarship community, benefiting from an enhanced programme of opportunities designed to extend learning, encourage personal development and support pupils in fulfilling their potential throughout their time at Sedbergh Prep.
Scholarships and certain Head’s Awards may also be accompanied by a nominal fee concession, awarded at the discretion of the School. The level and terms of any concession will be confirmed in writing following the scholarship assessment process.
Scholarship assessments for pupils entering Year 7 normally take place during the Lent Term of Year 6.
