Sedbergh Courses Welcomes Over 1,000 Young Attendees
Over the past three weeks, Sedbergh Courses has welcomed more than 1,000 children to its renowned summer residential and day camps at Sedbergh School, a record-breaking milestone that cements its reputation as one of the UK’s leading destinations for holiday courses.
From rugby and hockey to cricket and netball, participants have enjoyed world-class coaching, structured training sessions and a buzzing camp atmosphere that runs from morning until night. The energy has been matched only by the enthusiasm of the children, who have thrown themselves into every activity with dedication and joy.
Feedback from parents has been nothing short of outstanding. One parent shared:
“I can’t put into words how amazing this course is, my son has the best time every year, and every year he has a completely different experience on this amazing course.”
Another added:
“I can honestly say that this course is the best my child has ever attended. They are busy from morning ‘til night with amazing coaching, well-structured sessions, and so much fun! She slept all the way home but with a huge smile on her face. Thank you.”
Course Director Jason Duffy said:
“To welcome over a thousand young people in just three weeks is an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work of our coaching team and Sedbergh’s operational staff. Seeing the joy, progress and friendships made here is why we do what we do. As Director of Sedbergh Courses, I couldn’t be prouder.”
Plans are already in motion for the next exciting chapter, with camps scheduled for October 2025, February 2026, Easter 2026, and Summer 2026. Families are encouraged to visit the Sedbergh Courses website to stay up-to-date with booking information and announcements.
This year’s camps have offered not only skill development but also opportunities for building confidence, making friends and embracing the spirit of sport. Sedbergh Courses continues to be a place where young people grow both on and off the field and judging by the smiles and stories from 2025’s record numbers, the future looks brighter than ever.
