Short term immersion is available throughout the academic year subject to availability of a place. Please enquire and we can let you know if there is a space.

We offer immersion courses at the Prep School for children aged 8 to 13 (school Year 4 to 8) and at the Senior School for children aged 13 to 15 (School Year 9 and 10).

Sedbergh’s 500 year history, idyllic location and respected boarding provision are key reasons why Sedbergh School can provide a unique immersion experience. When you add our two campuses: Prep School (ages 8-12) and Senior School (ages 13-18) with 7 day a week full-boarding you can see how we provide a British boarding school experience that is different to other schools.

The nearest airport to Sedbergh School is Manchester, 1 hour 30 minutes away. Direct trains are also available from London Euston to Oxenholme Station (2 hour 20 minute trip).

Submit an application form telling us when you’d like your child to come. We will evaluate availability and then arrange a brief interview to access your child’s level of English. Once that is in place we will request documents such as recent school reports to get your child ready for their adventure!
