With a fleet of branded buses, our experienced drivers will transport day pupils to and from Sedbergh School Monday through to Friday.
We know that safety, security and reliability is key for families using our bus service, which is why our drivers are all employed directly by the School. Each driver goes through a rigorous safer recruitment process including DBS and child protection interview. They also undertake annual child safeguarding and first aid training and are regularly assessed and trained by the Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS). We only use robust, purpose-built minibuses, meaning they are built to the highest safety specification and undertake full safety checks in a garage every 10 weeks.
Each route has a dedicated driver, who builds up a personal relationship with the families using the buses and provides a sense of security and familiarity for the children. All of our drivers are contactable by hands-free, mobile phones, and their number shared with parents using the transport service.
